The Ballycatter Model WC-ESP Straight Pull 4.5” Packer is a compact, hydraulic-set production packer optimized for ESP completions in 4.5” casing. It features a pass-through section for ESP power cables, allowing seamless electrical connectivity between the surface and the ESP unit below.
The single-mandrel design with Acner Array Packing Element ensures superior sealing integrity, even in high-pressure and high-temperature wells. Its bi-directional slip system resists pressure from both above and below, providing secure anchoring and preventing unwanted movement.
Setting is achieved hydraulically by applying tubing pressure, locking the packer in place for long-term well isolation. Retrieval is simplified through a straight pull mechanism, eliminating the need for complex downhole tools and ensuring fast, efficient removal in standard and deviated wells. Compatible with all major ESP cable pack-off and feed-thru devices, the WC-ESP Straight Pull 4.5” Packer delivers reliability and ease of operation in compact wellbore conditions.
