This 2-way panel-mounted ball valve with Tube OD connections is designed to control, start, or stop fluid flow in oil and gas tubing systems. Its 2-way configuration allows fluid to flow in either direction between two ports, providing reliable on/off operation for pipelines, sampling lines, injection systems, or bypass lines.
The Tube OD connections allow direct attachment to tubing without additional fittings, simplifying installation and reducing potential leak points. The panel-mounted design enables operation from a control panel, making it suitable for systems where multiple valves are centralized or where physical access to the tubing is limited.
The valve features a floating ball design that ensures leak-proof shut-off under high-pressure conditions. Standard working pressure is 6000 PSI. It is designed and tested to ASME B16.34 for pressure-temperature ratings, and valve ratings follow ASME Process Piping Code B31.3. The valve has been type tested to MSS-SP-99 and offers a temperature range from –40 °F to 450 °F (–40 °C to 232 °C).
Operation is simple with a quarter-turn handle, providing fast, low-torque control. The three-piece construction allows easy installation and maintenance, including replacement of internal components. Each valve is factory tested pneumatically with nitrogen gas at 1000 psig for seat and stem leakage, with a maximum allowable leak rate of 0.1 sec/min. Optional additional tests, such as vibration, temperature, and helium, are available.
The valve is available in a range of corrosion-resistant materials, including SS 316, SS 316L, Duplex, Super Duplex, Hastelloy, Inconel, and Monel. Optional compliance with NACE MR0175 and fire-safe designs makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments. Heat code traceability ensures material verification and quality assurance.
