Detailed Description
The Gauge Root Valve Female x Female 1/4” NPT is a small but essential valve used to protect and control pressure instruments, like gauges and transmitters, in fluid or gas systems. Its female x female connection allows it to connect directly to two male-threaded fittings, making installation simple and reducing the risk of leaks.
This valve can handle pressures up to 6000 PSI and operates safely across a wide temperature range. The internal stem is designed with a back seat and the packing is placed below the threads, keeping the threads protected from the process media. A self-centering, non-rotating tip ensures a tight seal every time, preventing leaks.
It also features a removable “T” handle for easy turning with low effort, smooth rolled threads for long-lasting use, and a dust cap to prevent dirt or debris from entering the valve. Each valve is factory tested with nitrogen at 1000 PSI to ensure it seals correctly and operates reliably. This type of valve is ideal for isolating and protecting pressure instruments in chemical, oil and gas, and industrial processes.
